This is my song that I wrote and created on guitar. I called it "Crystal" because that is the name of the lead guitar effect I used. My goal was to create a somewhat minimalistic song easy to listen to. I first created a drum track with Garageband. I had to do some research to learn how to use Garageband, but I eventually figured out how to program the drum track I wanted. I then accessed the file from home. I recorded multiple tracks of my guitar and bass with Audacity using a microphone. I recorded two similiar rhythm guitar tracks, one on my Yamaha A1R acoustic and my Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. I put the acoustic track on the left side of the stereo track, and the electric on the right. I then recorded a lead guitar track with the Stratocaster. What influenced my creation is mainly the classic rock type music that I often listen to. My favorite bands are Journey, Queen and others.
